Tawa Threads is the studio of Tabria Williford, a self-taught textile and product designer based in Austin, Texas, who founded the brand in 2019. Her tapestries turn America's national parks into contemporary textile art, each an original design inspired by a specific landscape, from the saguaro cactus forests of the Sonoran Desert to the towering groves of Sequoia. Crafted from recycled and organic cotton, they are lightweight and easy to hang, and the studio donates a portion of its proceeds to organizations working to make the outdoors more welcoming for everyone.
