McEvoy Ranch is a family-owned, 550-acre working farm in Petaluma, California, producing estate olive oil for over three decades. Nan McEvoy founded it in 1990, inspired by a love of Tuscan olive oil: she fell for a sprawling former dairy farm north of San Francisco and imported a thousand seedlings from Italy, determined to make something of that quality in California.
Everything still happens on the ranch. They grow, harvest, mill and bottle on site, which is what makes the oil traceable and keeps it fresh. From that foundation the range has widened over the years into culinary products, olive oil skin and body care, and small-lot wines, all built around the same estate harvest.
