Moglea, founded in 2012 by husband and wife / design duo Chad and Meg Gleason, is a vibrant American studio rooted in the founders’ shared passion for art, design, and craft. From its origins in a farmhouse basement in Audubon, Iowa - where the pair rescued a century-old letterpress - the brand has grown into a downtown Des Moines atelier that houses every step of the creative and production process. Each of their paper goods are truly handmade: thick sheets are hand-painted in layers, often dip-dyed or brushed with custom pigments, then cut down and pressed on antique letterpress machines for foil stamping or die‑cut finishes. Each piece comes out unique, combining color, pattern, and texture into small works of art.
