Earthrise is a limited edition collaboration between AV86 and WWF Denmark, created to honor what the Copenhagen brand calls the greatest design ever made: Earth itself. In 1968, astronauts aboard Apollo 8 captured a view no one had seen before, Earth rising above the lunar horizon. That photograph became a symbol of fragility, unity, and responsibility, and it later helped inspire Earth Day.

The full-lume dial carries a graphic of the planet rendered in blue-emission Super-LumiNova®, capturing the glow of Earth against the darkness of space. It sits inside a uni-directional bezel with an ice blue ceramic inlay and its own luminous scale. On the date wheel, a green dot marks the 22nd of every month, a quiet reminder to be mindful of the planet. Inside, a Miyota 8215 automatic movement runs without a battery, powered by the motion of the wrist, with a 42-hour power reserve.

Built on AV86's 1956 Marine Automatic, the 40mm case is 316L stainless steel with a screw-down caseback and 200 meters of water resistance, protected by a double-domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. It arrives on a one-pass NATO strap made from 100% recycled plastic, certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100, and ships in a custom engraved wooden box.
