1815 Chronograph, Steel / Blue Sunray

1815 was the year the chronograph technique was invented, and the first watch ever designed in the Skov Andersen collection, which would become AV86, could be named nothing else. The 1815 Chronograph is the watch that started everything.

This special edition sets the design on a blue sunray dial, the brushed radial finish catching light differently as the wrist moves. Two vertical subdials at 12H and 6H, seconds above and a 12-hour totalizer below, keep the layout clean and the intent clear. Every caseback carries its own individual number.

The 41 mm case is machined from 316L stainless steel, chosen for corrosion resistance and skin safety, under a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. Movement is a Miyota 6S11 quartz chronograph. 5 ATM water resistance, on a genuine Italian leather strap with pin buckle.
