1934 Telechron, Steel / Blue

In 1934 the second pusher on a chronograph was invented, allowing quicker resetting and marking what AV86 calls the 2.0 of chronograph watches. The Telechron is their take on it, carrying a telemeter scale for measuring the distance of sound, alongside date and stopwatch functions.

Start the chronograph when you see the flash, stop when you hear the sound, read the scale. A functional relic of another era, worn on the wrist today. This edition puts it on a blue dial, where the telemeter track reads with the graphic clarity of vintage field instruments.

The 42 mm case is machined from 316L stainless steel and individually numbered, with a domed sapphire crystal and anti-reflective coating. 5 ATM water resistance, on a genuine Italian leather strap with pin buckle.
