In 1954, the Amalfi coastline was restored to its full glory. Just beyond it, across the Bay of Naples, Capri offered another expression of coastal Italy: an island known for dramatic landscapes, effortless style, and a character that reaches far beyond its shores.

The 1954 Capri Mechanical takes its name from that smaller island and its proportions from one of the most requested additions to AV86's square collection. At 33 mm, the sculpted case brings a more compact presence to the wrist while keeping the geometric lines, curved details, and hand-wound movement at the heart of the design.

Classic numerals pair with slender hands and a clean sub-second display, the layout drawn from early pocket watch mechanics. Inside is a Seagull ST17 hand-wound movement with a 39-hour power reserve. No battery, no rotor: a few turns of the crown each day are what keep it running.

The case is gold-plated over 316L stainless steel with genuine ISO-certified plating, individually numbered, under a domed sapphire crystal. 5 ATM water resistance, on a brown lizard-grain leather strap.
