Oblong Lamp

The Oblong is a cordless, rechargeable LED table lamp from Zone Denmark, designed by the VE2 studio. Its distinctive geometric form can be stood tall and slim or turned to sit low and wide, so it adapts to a shelf, windowsill, sideboard or dining table with equal ease.
A discreet touch button on the front dims the warm-white light through three levels, from a soft ambient glow to a focused reading light, with the beam directed gently downward to avoid glare. The built-in rechargeable battery runs up to eight hours at full brightness and recharges with the included USB-C cable, so the lamp moves freely from room to room, or briefly outdoors on a summer evening, without a power socket.
