The Hamburg Automatic Edition Marine extends Sternglas's popular Hamburg Automatic series into gold tones. The design takes its cue from the dress uniform of a naval officer: bold ocean blue paired with golden accents and insignia, a contrast that reads formal or casual depending on how it's worn.
The deep blue dial is given depth by gold and orange needle hands, and the double-domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal keeps it legible and scratch-resistant. Inside, the Miyota 8215 automatic movement runs without a battery. The caseback carries an engraving for seafaring and maritime heritage.
At 42 mm across and just 6 mm high, it sits comfortably under a cuff. Water-resistant to 5 bar, with the quick-change strap system included so straps swap in ten seconds without tools.
